Hey friends!
After two days at sea, including crossing the Arctic Circle, Klaus finally arrived in Alta!

Alta is a city located in the northernmost county of Finnmark with a population of over 21,000 and is also known as the "City of the Northern Lights” It’s famed for its ancient rock carvings, UNESCO-listed history, and as a top spot for viewing the Aurora Borealis.

A short while later it was time to go! Klaus settled into his place on the minibus 🚐

After a 30 minute drive, Klaus arrived at the lodge from where his snowy adventure was due to begin!

A few minutes passed and Klaus joined his fellow adventurers who were getting kitted out with snowshoes, ready for an amazing hike through the forest, with the snow and ice crunching under their feet 👣

Once they had trekked for a while, they all stopped for a rest and some yummy Norwegian chocolate 🍫
And then they sat around a nice bonfire, with a fruity hot drink

After that much needed rest, they went back down the hill and back to the lodge

Join Klaus at his next stop for more adventures in Norway! 🇳🇴
Klaus woke up very early to look at the scenery this morning as the ship sailed past on the way to the docks
