Hey friends!
Klaus had a nice rest after snowshoe trekking in Alta, and woke up to see the most beautiful scenery as he sailed into Tromsø 🏔️
After breakfast, Klaus got off the ship and caught the shuttle bus 🚌 into the town centre. One of the main attractions here is the Arctic Cathedral, but you need to not be afraid of heights (or not look down 🤣) to get to it, as you have to walk over the impressive Tromsø Bridge ( Tromsøbrua) to get there!
Klaus’s little feet were working overtime to get across the bridge as it’s over half a mile long, but it was worth it to be able to visit the spectacular cathedral ⛪️

Klaus enjoyed his visit to the cathedral, but had earlier spotted another attraction he wanted to visit, so it was time to get those little feet moving again and walk back over the bridge to the town centre.
Once there, it was only a short distance to find what he was looking for … the Troll Museum! 💻👾
No, not internet trolls, the legendary Norwegian Trolls! 🧌
Here’s what Visit Norway says about the Trolls:
Once upon a time, these strange and dangerous creatures roamed freely in the mysterious Norwegian mountains and forests. But the trolls only went out at night, in the dark. Because there was only one thing that could scare a real troll: The sunlight.
If they didn't hide in time, the first rays of the sunlight would turn them into stone. And that is why you can still see their faces and bodies carved into the mountain sides, cliffs and stones all around the country.

After saying goodbye to his troll friends, Klaus had a little wander around Tromsø, visiting the quaint shops and admiring another church
Then it was time to say goodbye to Tromsø and get back on board, where Klaus soon found another new friend to chat to ☃️☃️
